  • Corner Store Garden Center

An amazing, family-owned garden center in Ruckersville, Va.

I started working there in fall of 2023 and that was the best place I could’ve landed after going through a layoff. They gave me the hope, advice, and encouragement I needed to figure out my next step.

Their knowledgeable employees and local, seasonal selection beat any big box store any day!

  • Daily Grind Cville

Sam and Alison at Daily Grind Cville were supportive of me before I even had a name for the company! They are big supporters of the local community and I am honored that Giardino Foresta was welcomed as part of their local offerings.

They were a huge part of my first year and I’m looking forward bringing fresh flowers to the community again in the spring!

If you need a caffeine fix or a spot to shop offerings from multiple local small businesses, stop by!

  • Gardener's Workshop Farm

Lisa is an inspiration and a treasure trove of information! Her farm is located in Newport News, VA, just a few hours away from Giardino Foresta.

She generously opens her farm to tours every summer and is so friendly and ready to help! I particularly gravitate to her methods of natural gardening and letting Mother Nature take care of herself so that no pesticides or chemicals are needed.

She also has a literal warehouse of reliable equipment and seeds, which is an incredible source for any flower farmer.

  • J&G Landscaping

Johnathan, Paco, and the team with J&G Landscaping came to my rescue when I needed to clear a patch of invasive plants. We’re talking Tree of Heaven, Japanese honeysuckle, knotweed… it was something I couldn’t handle on my own. I’d been trying for years and finally called in the pros who took care of it in a few hours! They have the know-how and the equipment to do the job right!

They have amazing quality products and use all local ingredients in their certified organic compost. A lot of local garden centers also carry bags of their compost.

  • Suzanne Crane and Mud Dauber Pottery

Suzanne’s work utilizes local plants to add to her stunning creations, so when she reached out to collaborate to help get the Giardino Foresta name out to the community, it was a no-brainer to say “yes!”.
