One of our beloved cedar trees needed to be removed a couple years ago. It was so sad to see her go and we didn’t have the heart to turn her into firewood, like we do with our other trees.

She was so close to our house, we couldn’t help but feel like she had been a guardian all these years. So to honor her 75+ year legacy, we are utilizing the material she gave us and sharing it with you all.

Since we have never milled a tree before, we decided to let the professionals handle it! She was a HUGE tree so we hired Jason to come out and mill it for us. He did a beautiful job and now we are able to create hundreds of different pieces from the material.

Each piece is handmade in our garage workshop. Either Alicia or her husband, Todd, craft each piece.
